I will provide a safe and supportive space to explore your thoughts and emotions as we work towards helpful skills and healthy coping mechanisms which can promote lasting healing and personal growth.
Therapy sessions involve one on one sessions, lasting 50 minutes. This provides a unique opportunity to focus on yourself. We will address your personal struggles, needs, wants, experiences and behaviors which have led to distress and unhappiness in your life.
Together we will work to develop manageable treatment goals towards better health and well-being. There may be some homework assignments such as charting and journaling. This will help us stay on track and evaluate your progress towards meeting your goals. Sessions typically will be once a week.
This is a journey towards a more productive and fulfilling life we take together.

Donna Beck has a PhD in Counseling Psychology from
United States International University where she did her dissertation on Bulimia.
She has worked as a therapist at the Rader Institute for Eating Disorders in San Diego for years prior to specializing in the disorder in her private practice in Carlsbad, California.
After 30 years in Carlsbad, Donna Beck moved to Sarasota Florida, where she has set up her new practice.
